In 2024 we have started a long-term improvement project in one of the Public Kindergartens of Siem Reap. This school welcomes around 180 toddlers on a daily basis. With our expertise, the financial help of a Dutch Foundation and the dedication of the kindergarten teachers we try to give the students a good educational base. During a whole year of working together, we’ve installed carpet on the playground, did some painting, and tiled one classroom. We built a unique play rack that we can easily turn into a little goal, a puppet theatre, a climbing rack, and a swing rack. We brought in materials for hygiene lessons, installed an extra toilet with proper sewer drainage, and delivered a number of educational games and tools as well as regular teacher trainings.

It’s a lovely cooperation between a very supportive financial ally, an amazing group of teachers and staff at the kindergarten, and Panha Sabay.
