In the English class which is on Wednesday mornings now, because then the group is complete (the rest of the week the employees work independently on the exercises of the books) we discuss many things that make the students curious. It is nice to let them experience something new now and then. Mostly these extra subjects are related, directly or indirectly, to Panha Sabay. We talk about decision making, priorities, recycling plastic, and so on. But sometimes we just talk about new things like spaghetti and how much fun is it then to cook spaghetti for lunch….I cannot cook well but spaghetti I can do.
Vutey, Neen, chorn and Sokh liked it a lot, fortunately. Proof of that was found in the amount they ate.
In de Engelse les die we tegenwoordig op woensdagochtend doen, want dan zijn we er allemaal, (de rest van de week doen de medewerkers veel zelfstandige oefeningen uit het boek) komen heel vaak onderwerpen aan bod waar de medewerkers nieuwsgierig van worden. Het is leuk om ze af en toe iets nieuws te laten ervaren. Meestal hebben die extra’s direct of indirect te maken met Panha Sabay. Zo hebben we het over beslissingen nemen, prioriteiten stellen, plastic recyclen, etc. Maar soms hebben we het ook gewoon over iets nieuws als spagetti en hoe leuk is het dan om de lunch eens zelf te maken….. Spagetti maken lukt me nog wel.
Vutey, Neen, Chorn en Sokh vonden het alle vier heel lekker gelukkig. Het bewijs daarvan werd geleverd door de hoeveelheid die is gegeten.
