Now that I have come to the testing phase, it is probably also a good idea to show you all what I’m about to test………..
As you can see in the picture, there’s a first book. This one is preschool Math (5/6 years). In the meantime the follow up book (grade 1) is also almost ready. Math is so much easier than Khmer, but also on the first Khmer book I made some progress.
I have a large amount of bottle caps already. No worries there. But the stickers that I punched with the hammer are showing little tags, which makes them easy to tear off. That problem should be solved once I have the punching machine from Holland end of the week.
The bags for the caps were very quickly arranged. For very little a number of women made these; I hope to meet them soon.
The green game board is a test version. As I mentioned before I want to make that one out of recycled plastic. The luxurious version will be made out of wood. It is possible; I’ve seen the first one. It is so beautiful.
But as said: first I need to test………..
Nu ik in de fase ben gekomen om te gaan testen, is het wellicht ook een goed moment jullie te laten zien wat ik dan ga testen…………
Zoals jullie zien op de foto is er een eerste boek. Dit is pre school math (5/6 jaar) en ongemerkt heb ik het volgende boek ook al bijna af. Math gaat veel makkelijker dan Khmer, maar ook daar zijn wat vorderingen gemaakt.
Ik heb al een flink aantal doppen klaarliggen en er komen er wekelijks nieuwe bij. Over doppen maak ik mij dus geen enkele zorgen. De stickertjes die ik tot dusverre heb geponst met de hamer hebben iets teveel rafels, waardoor ze wat makkelijk van de doppen af te trekken zijn. Dat probleem moet zijn opgelost als ik later deze week mijn ponsmachientje uit Nederland krijg.
De zakjes voor de doppen waren het snelst geregeld. Voor een habbekrats worden deze gemaakt door een aantal vrouwen, met wie ik nog kennis hoop te gaan maken.
Het groene plankje is een echt testplankje. Zoals al eerder gezegd, wil ik de goedkope versie van plastic maken. De luxe versie wordt van hout. Ik heb al een eerste exemplaar gezien, die is echt mooi.
Maar zoals gezegd: eerst testen nu………
